The “HV” Series are the only products of their type to be designed exclusively for large volume high velocity systems. Central chilled water systems and district heating and cooling projects benefit from a product that can handle large flows efficiently through a relatively small unit. Centrifugal type separators would be quite large and in many cases these flows exceed their ability to handle the volume efficiently.

The shell on the “HV” Series is extended by as much as 40%, increasing the coalescing surface and turbulence free area to maintain the unique Spirovent and Spirotrap efficiencies.
Spirovent air eliminators will remove all of the free and entrained air and up to 99.6% of the dissolved air.
Spirotrap dirt separators will remove dirt and sediment with a specific gravity greater than water to below 30 microns.

Setting the “HV” apart is their ability to handle entering velocities of up to 10 feet per second. This allows it to match the pipe size in many cases. Custom fabrication is available to handle unique job site conditions where the overall height of the unit may be limited. Customers have benefited from this flexibility in design in many applications.
